Jackson Pickett

Jackson is an experienced basketball player and an upcoming coach, as well as an aspiring businessman. He is kind, caring, and passionate about helping kids learn, play, become physically and mentally stronger, and enjoy basketball, translating into his career choice of a personal trainer and sporting coach.

Jackson studied at Woodvale Secondary College north of Perth and North Metropolitan TAFE in Northbridge. He has achieved his Western Australian Certificate of Education and obtained a Certificate 2 in Sports Coaching – Basketball and 3 and 4 in Fitness.

Jackson played basketball since he was eight years old and grew up in a family heavily involved in basketball in WA for 20+ years. He found his passion for coaching when sidelined with a season-ending injury in 2017, and it has grown stronger and stronger since then. He began coaching for North Metro Marlins in the Junior Domestic Competition at Wanneroo Basketball Association. Then he grew into a higher role coaching a representative team for the Joondalup Wolves in the Western Australian Basketball League (WABL).
