Hailing from the town of Albany, WA, Marksman Lloyd is a songwriter, rapper and spoken word artist. After a successful national tour off the back of his latest project, ‘Portals”, Marksman has been locked away working on new material. A recent near-death experience on stage meant that this was put on hold while he recovered and thankfully he’s now back with more fervour than ever
The multi-award winning songwriter (including WAM song of the year), national poetry slam and scribble jam battle champ, has completed three successful national tours, as well as supporting the likes of Macklemore, Peking Duk, Action Bronson, and Machine Gun Kelly. Defined by his storytelling ability Marksman is also making waves in South East Asia thanks to MTV Asia video rotation for his single ‘Gene Simmons’ and has garnered millions of streams on Spotify. The Triple J Unearthed feature of the week artist has continued to blur genre lines and break boundaries with solid backing from radio and digital platforms alike.
