Living in such a technically advanced culture means that our kids and teenagers need to be equipped in how to be safe while being on the internet. It is almost impossible to keep students away from social media at certain ages – so the focus needs to be how to keep them safe while being online. We discuss how student online reputation is not separate to their real-life reputation, the importance of taking into account the terms and conditions for social media sights as well as settings for devices and how student relate to people online (and can also include other related issues such as Cyber-Bullying, Screen Addiction, Pornography and more).

The online content has been designed to follow the cyber safety session run by Armed For Life in your school.

How it works

Access is granted upon purchase, to the chosen topic for 30 days.

• The follow up lesson plans, which have been designed to be used in a number of class periods to reinforce the messages of the chosen session
• The interviews and stories are optional extras. These are videos of people and their stories, which that directly or indirectly display the points associated with the session
