The environment of the workplace and staff room of a school can have such a strong impact on the effectiveness of teachers, and their capacity to even do their jobs well. Sometimes we do not give the environment the credit that it is due – certain plants or foods can’t grow unless they have the correct environment. It is the same for teachers and staff in a school. The ultimate goal is the have students thriving and doing well in their studies and that cannot happen unless teachers and staff within the school feel as though they are in a positive work environment. This session will go through practical points on how to ensure the work environment is positive in your school.

We allow the Mentee to choose where the mentoring takes place whether at their home, taking a walk or participating in an activity (like basketball) or in a café.
If a child or young adult is struggling with something, whether it be decisions or mental health issues, we work closely with the person to help them understand the healthy choices to make and guide them towards that choice. We encourage parent involvement as this is where we see the best results.
